Cheryl Lacy, a BBNC shareholder descendant from Chignik and Kanatak, is an Alaska Native silver-hand artist who has owned and operated Dancing Raven Designs since 2001. Cheryl started her career doing covert graffiti artwork underneath the kitchen table, on the walls, and behind the back of the couch. Her favorite medium was permanent magic market and her first most supportive collectors (mom and dad) actually cut the back of that couch so they could save her artwork! She has been drawing and painting all her life – she lives, breathes, and NEEDs to draw every day.
